I even considered selling my SA 1911 V10 (ported). Wife told me otherwise, so it stays.

I currently carry a Gerber Gator on me every day all day. I love it. My buddy had it for something like 5 years before he passed it off to me.

Sorry for rezzing this old topic but I read all the way through it and posted.

I'm currently looking for a decent hand gun.

Daily Carry... Glock 36, riding in a CrossBreed, Supertuck deluxe. This is a very comfy carry combo, rides almost invisible. I carry a spare mag with me as well, in a Fobus paddle. Getting mag holders for the G36 is not an easy task.

I just took possession of my first 1911... see my review in this forum.

As for a blade, I have my trusty Emerson Combat Commander with me all the time.
