Moving to Ranger Regiment?

Post by randy »

hi, im in 2nd ACR right now, with all the changes here at ft polk, the few new recruits Infantry Platoons here went to a briefing from branch manager and retention nco. he was talking to us about our future duty stationes, moving to ft lewis or stay here and be part of 4/10. as we were shown clips of changes, the Sgt then said " i have to ask this, does anyone want to volunteer for 75th Ranger Regiment" i told the sgt i wanted to, so he gave me a number to the liasion at ft benning, one of my friends called and because we werent in the army or duty station for 12 months we could not apply. is there any way a waiver can be an option, i just want to have a chance to serve with my 4 brothers, one in airborne school, and the other 3 in their 1st week of osut. thank you for your time Rangers. well respected from me. and God Bless

You are required a minimum stay of 12 months after any PCS move. This has not been waiverable (I have tried 1 time).

You might want to re-think why you want to be a Ranger as well.
