****EDITED BY ADMIN FOR OPSEC REASONS****
This is a message that the USMC recruiter just left me. The file name is his name, date, and time for record keeping purpose.
Harassment???
Re: Harassment???
I can't see anything, It does not play for me. Is Evolution violating OPSEC by revealing an active duty member of our armed forces? This whiner.Evolution wrote:***edited***

Ranger Steadfast,
I am merely asking a question. If this makes me a 'whiner,' then yes, I am.
I am just asking is this was considered harassment. Regardless, it doesn't matter. A phone call if being made the Indianapolis USMC PA office in the morning to report the incident and request my DEP drop from the USMC.
I didn't realize that I was in violation of OPSEC. Since no names aside from mine was used in the message, if the file is renamed, can it be reposted for the purpose of me obtaining advice?

Evolution-
I deleted the link that you posted. This site does not allow Active Duty soldiers' names to be posted on the open boards. Before I deleted it, I listened to the recording. To answer your question, yes....that is harrassment. You could file criminal charges through your local PD or you could approach the Recruiter's Chain of Command. This is only based upon what I heard, as I have no idea what the rest of the story is....

Always remember: BROS BEFORE HOES.
With out stepping into anyone's lane, here is a quote from another recruiter.
http://www.armybasic.org/forums/viewtop ... 4&start=10Now as far as your friend, the Marines will hold someone in their ranks for 365 days past their enlistment date. Many a USMC DEPloss have come to my door only to find out that they are still in the USMC. It takes an act of congress to get out of those contracts. And I have never seen a Marine DEPloss be allowed back into ANY branch of service. Why do you ask? Well the Marines like to Disqualify you when you screw them... because when you kill your contract, you just screwed your recruiter. Now in the Army, we are required by regulation to drop you immediately (After you sign a REC 986 Form). For some reason the Marines kill you. I have had 3 people that DEPLossed for the USMC who mysteriousely acquired Asthma, 5 who had some surgery that had no documents... all of this was made up by thier recruiters. I have confronted a few Marine recruiters about this and they get the gruff attitude of "If they screw me, then I screw them." I have also gotten 2 USMC recruiters kicked out for doing it... anonymousely of course...
