Hi all,
I’m gearing up for some extended trips out in the sticks and thinking about getting some freeze dried food to keep me going. I know plenty here have plenty of field experience, so I’d appreciate your thoughts on these meals, do they really hold up in terms of nutrition and taste? Any brands or specific dishes you’d recommend?
Also, I’m keen on stuff with a decent shelf life, as I want to stash some away for emergencies too. How practical are these meals when you’re out on the go? I get that you need hot water, but any tips or tricks to make it easier or more reliable would be ace.
Cheers in advance for any advice or personal experience you can share!
Stay safe.
