Have you given yourself an APFT? What is your 5 mile time or are you still working up to that?

Great work on redoing your contract to get an OPT40. Not everyone is so fortunate. Glad you were able to do so.

I know you are young, so you'll figure this out if you don't believe me when you hit 30+... But generally only add 1 mile or so max to your distance runs each week. There are programs out there that will push a bit harder if you are training for a marathon. But if you aren't used to running distance all you will get from that is overly sore or possibly injured!

No worries Ty - Even if you do events inside it is fine and skip the run to get something on record. Not trying to pressure you, just encouraging you to think outside of the box a bit. You can do two minutes of pushups and situps anywhere 8)
