Been away for a while, and was saddened to read this news. Ranger Jim was one of the first to welcome an old beancounter like me here. I will miss his spirit, his wisdom, his encouragement, and his class.

Rest In Peace, Sir.
"My religious convictions teach me to feel as safe in battle as if I were safe asleep in bed. The time of my death is fixed. I do not concern myself about that, but to be always ready no matter when it may overtake me. That is the way all men should live, and then all would be equally brave." - General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson

Rest Easy Ranger Jim. At details on his service at Arlington? I would be honored to be there to bid him farewell if at all possible. RLTW!

I think the confusion may lay in the post put up on 30 Aug 18.

https://armyranger.com/forum.html

Combine that date with the part at the bottom of the post stating services will be announced at a later date and it appears that he has not been buried yet.
