Intro - Boyd

Post by Ranger7 »

Howdy mates.

I served with C Co WPNS PLT as a mortar maggot from '87 to '90, then a short stint with the S1/PAC in HHC in '90, then B Co mortars from '90 to '92. I'm ETS'ed and was a cop in Detroit then Savannah GA until '98, while serving in the National Guard 20th SFG, A Co in Decatur AL from '95 to '98 albeit I never made the time to attend SFAS or the Q-course.

I came back Active Duty after 9-11 as an Infantry Officer and served with the 10th MTN DIV, 1st Special Warfare at Ft Bragg as I did make SFAS and the Q-course as a 41-year old man until my right foot gave out during Robin Sage and I was a med drop. I'm currently with the 4th ID at Fort Carson.

Name is Kevin and good to meet all! RLTW and Sua Sponte

Welcome here Kevin. Someone should be along shortly to help you get verified. I knew a few O folks who went to Carson over the last couple years... Know many Artillery officers who had time in Regiment?

The only one I can think of who is here at Carson is the current DIVARTY commander, he was in 75th the same time I was as a private. He clearly went straight to college, I believe the prep-school the USMA, and came in on the 'O' side years before me. I had a nearly 10-year break in service and a Major now.
