Introduction Fink

Post by Fink »

Good Morning Ranger Brothers,

I look forward to becoming a proud member of this site, that I believe is the best way for others to gain knowledge to fulfill their future career's as Army Rangers. I also look forward to meeting the "Elders" lol j/k much respect, and catching up with the men I served with. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I look forward to helping anyone out with what I can, or helping guide you in the right direction.

Thanks for the welcome Ranger Cams an Ranger CharlieRanger1FFV,

I spent the last hour writing a book for yall lol and when I went to preview it somehow it wasn't there. Disappointed but a "real long story short", I graduated RIP class 08-07, Graduated the Ranger RTO Coarse a month after, then went on to become the RTO for 2/75 3C for awhile and 1 trip down range, then worked in 2/75 HHC for awhile afterwords then went to Ft. Hood and out processed. I got into the Oil business after I got out, but I'm really considering going into PSD private contracting work down range or wherever. I've been out now for 6.5 years so if anyone has any advice on where to train school wise or which companies to apply for, I would greatly appreciate it. RLTW!

Ranger Jim and others,
I currently live in southeast Louisiana. I am the operations manager for a oil field equipment rental facility. I'm originally from Georgia, but processed into the Army from Fayetteville North Carolina. One of my little brothers has been in the 75th now for 8 years, he got to 2nd batt after my vacation/Mosul trip (May - July 08), and a few months ago he was transferred to Regiment at Benning. During my trip to Mosul I was the RTO for 3 Charlie in the beginning, then I operated one of the 50. Cal RTMS systems on one of the strikers for 3C weapons squad here and there, while also doing some personnel transport all over Iraq with some of the recci guys. I'm trying not to "spill to many of the beans here". Unfortunately we lost CPL. Duncan on this trip, and a couple other Rangers in other locations. Thomas wasn't in my platoon, but we ran into each other everyday over there. Besides the oil business, I live in what is considered by many "the fishing capital of the world" and a lot of veteran charities have fishing tourmants every year, so if there are any Vets on here that would like to get involved, please let me know.
