Ranger Jim:

Took it late this afternoon. I am not happy with it but the scores are

PU = 25
SU = 60
2 mile = 16:56

I did not have a pullup bar today and the gym was closed. I am retesting as these scores are shit. Excuse my language and I mean no disrespect. I have another one scheduled for myself in two weeks after finals are over. I will be fixing the two problems and seeing if I can not get back on track.

Ranger Jim sir,

I have pulled a muscle or something in my wrist. I am hoping for a doctor appt. hopefully today or tomorrow, depending on availability. I am sure I can still run but was unable to hold a barbell for double digit reps in any move. I am going to nurse it and focus more on no hand needed movement like rucking and running. Once the swelling goes down I can get back to work.

Thank you for checking in on me.

Ranger Jim,

No doctor appointment but was told to treat with ice and wrapping it to see if range of motion and use improve from a nurse. I am planning on trying it out tomorrow. Otherwise I recently graduated from college and only have a few books and my APFT to line up prior to continuing to ship in August. Starting to get a little nervous to be honest but will be ready.

Ranger Jim,

I am back to being able to perform at 100%. The injury was short lived. Going to continue my PT work, but no significant improvements worth mentioning.

I have spoken with my recruiter to see if he might be able to find me a 12B contract with Airborne already in it. It may alter my ship date, but I think not trying would be a mistake. I know it is a long shot but also that it may be possible. If he does not find anything I am still just waiting to move out in August.

Thank you again for checking in on me sir. I will have a PT test up within the next couple of weeks and will begin trying to have one no later than Sunday evening henceforth.

Rangers,

I was wondering if there was anything extra I should focus on completing aside from the mentor task list link that is located on the left side of the Ranger Base page? I am going to start writing the creed as reciting it daily is not getting the results fast enough. In "Sua Sponte" the new guys were made to write it ten times by hand along with their standing orders so I am going to try that in place.

I was unable to get the knot tying link to work, but seeing as my being the best at PT may or may not be the case, I wanted to learn everything that may help alongside with fitness. I do not have a mentor but have been trying to get through any mentor/mentee list I have found on here, but anything else you guys suggest will be added.

Thank you in any case.

20160514 PT Test Results

Push = 36
Sit = 56
Run = 18:07
Pull = 4

Improved pushups from last time but ran like a fat kid in a sandbox. I am going to try and do the 60/120 type running program as the 10k program is not showing results. Thank you Ranger Silverback PT improvement workouts. They seem to be helping albeit my results are not the best.

Also thank you Ranger Jim Sir for keeping up with me as always.

Next PT test is due a week from tomorrow on 20160522.

You have been consistent in your efforts, but to be frank, your PT scores are dogshit. You need to look within this site to find a training regiment that will improve your current capacity. Looking at your numbers, it seems like you are just maintaining, and NOT improving.

What is your current height and weight?

Ranger Fuego,

6'3 225 lbs.

Ranger Jim,

I decided against posting my PT scores in lieu of continuing to work on them. I will only post once I have improved to a passing score to keep from wasting time posting scores that are sub-par or in better terms "dogshit."

I am going to try to find some things from here to help push these up as I know I am close to shipping out and regardless of whether I manage to get Airborne and Ranger in BCT, the Army deserves someone who is a good soldier first.

Thank you both.

Nick, you will ship in just over a month. Please continue to read the letters from school thread. Begin a SITREP in that thread when you ship out to BCT. Never, never quit!
