Welcome Sean. Are you thinking about signing as a cook?
Do not give in to evil but proceed ever more boldly against it.

Re: Introduction: Sean
More than a few Rangers from that neck of the woods (RI), and a boatload of Ranger history as well.
I understand the drive to move when you find your current situation toxic, however if you are planning on joining the military, perhaps you might consider sticking it out until you are enlisted. You'll have plenty of opportunity to see different parts of the country and world, giving you some better insight when deciding where to settle later in life. Moving can take time and energy that you might find best directed toward your preparation.
You are wise to try and avoid the restaurant/bar industry in your preparation. Both can be a black hole, taking over every aspect of your life with the odd hours and constrained social life. Even if you are looking in to becoming a Ranger cook, you'll find the lifestyle dramatically different.

Inattention to detail. Today's Monday.BePreparedSean wrote:Brief Sitrep. I have made it to San Jose , California and within the first 24 hours I have met with my local recruiter to see where my paperwork is, and I also shadowed a 6am CrossFit class. I am changing my sleep and workout schedule to be more in line with an early AM PT regime. I will post an updated PT test by the end of this weekend!

Please tell us more. Never, never quit!BePreparedSean wrote:My deepest apologies Ranger Jim.
I unfortunately ran into legal issues this weekend, and I will be taking a break for the immediate future from this site. I have a court date later in the month and will hopefully have everything figured out before then. I plan on taking responsibility for my actions and then if the Army will still have me, I will continue to pursue my enlistment.
