Hello Rangers, and everyone else. I ship to Benning with an 11x Opt. 40 on Monday. Extremely excited as I have been waiting since October.
To all of you in DEP (future soldier program) with an 11x Option 40/ Option 4/ or any other contract, STAY OUT OF TROUBLE. I cannot stress this enough. A couple guys through my recruiting station had their contracts taken from them for getting in trouble with the police or lying about previous charges. Also PT! A kid got dropped for PT standards in DEP.. Very sad because the standards are so easy.
I will post an update upon completion of OSUT!

Re: SITREP Dylan
OSUT was very easy. It shocked me actually. The first PT test we took I scored a 231. On the last one we took I scored a 294. Maxing the run and sit ups. Me and a couple others with Option 40's would PT at night during our free time. I would recommend this because the PT you do in the mornings is a joke. I found the rucks to be fairly easy as well. Always was a road guard during the rucks to help better myself for the rucks in RASP. On Holiday Block Leave right now. When I get back we turn all of our stuff in and then it's off to Airborne!

Re: SITREP Dylan
Hello Rangers. Sorry I have not posted in awhile. Just got to Pre RASP the other day. Airborne School was well... Airborne School. It was a lot of sitting around and waiting to do things. Jumping on the other hand was insanely fun. I cannot wait to class up and start RASP. We have about 187 in our class right now and only 160 of us will be able to class up for RASP. I've still been PTing on my own. Audie Murphy gym is a great tool. We also were issued rucks when we got here so I have been rucking. Also eating very healthy and hydrating. I can't stress this enough to those of you who will be coming here. They have all sorts of desserts here. The cadre tell you to eat healthy... Use your integrity and don't eat the cake! Also drink a lot of water. Well that's about all I have for now. Never quit!

Re: SITREP Dylan
A quick update. Well I was not able to class up with the last class. They went alphabetically and I was the cut off point on the class. So in the mean time I'm working out like crazy and studying everything I can. I did very well on the last PT test. All of my scores were well above the graduation requirement. The next class is starting here soon so I should be classing up then. I'm very excited.

I got used to that long ago. When your last name starts with "W," you get used to it. Never, never quit!Dylan1995 wrote:A quick update. Well I was not able to class up with the last class.
