I get that, and agree whole heartedly. If anyone on here espouses "Think for yourself" mentality it's you. I'm just curious where race factored into this.

Are you implying that the NRA had Sherriff what ever his name is speak because of his race?

I didn't intend to make it "racial" other than to point out that persons of color are shoved into the spotlight whenever possible by the GOP. I attempted to create commentary on the exclusionary practices that ensure the GOP is less likely to win elections. Instead I came off like Jesse or Al.

The only similarity you hold with Jesse, Al or any other of that ilk is that you are an instigator. 8)

I can't see you in a purple track suit or riding a dead mans coat tails.

I'm just not seeing a direct connection between the NRA speaker and the GOP. Do you think this would have showcased if the speaker was white?

I know that the 2 organizations are thick as thieves. I just don't think there's as much "racial" motivation in this instance.

Tough- you could be right. My first thought was how I responded. Maybe I am the racist?

Or maybe we've all been deluged with race bullshit and we just can't get away from it.

I don't disagree with your point about the RNC and racial integration one bit.
