Prep for RASP
Prep for RASP
I understand the best way to prepare for Ranger Selection is to run, do pushups, situps, pullups, and ruck. However I often get home kind of late. I was wondering if doing the Insanity or P90X programs would help as well. Thanks in advance.

I don't know much about those 2 programs, but you are on the right track. Any PT is better than none, especially with some that have never done any. And it depends on the 6 ft beanpole runner that can't do pushups, the 5 ft stocky guy that can't run, and the rucker with no abs. (with all around weak guys that just won't quit and all around physical studs with attitude problems/can't learn/lazy/etc.) Fix what is weak, and always improve!

You were in the right thread. There are a couple of threads by Ranger Silverback that seem to be popular. Never, never quit!

Being well rounded is the key. Only doing PT test events will result in you being good at just that - PT test. Unfortunately, that is not the only thing you will face in RASP.
