Intro-Nate

Post by johnnyreb24 »

22 years old, from Northwest Arkansas, was going to West Point coming out of high school to play football for Army but got into a boating accident and was unable to attend. That was 4 years ago and im fully recovered physically and have decided I would rather take the enlisted route. I come from a long line of pilots...Great Uncle flew helicopters in vietnam, grandad flew c-47s over the Hump, and my uncle was a top gun in the navy. I, on the other hand am planning on a different route! My goal and dream is to be a Ranger, and I will not stop until I reach that goal. 11x or 68w with an opt. 40, whichever becomes available first. Joined this site to continue learning and hear what real Rangers have to say! Thanks guys.

Welcome Nate.

We do have a distinguished Ranger here NDog275 with your name. If we had 10 more Rangers with the name Nate the U.S. would be a safer place.

Be sure to research this site for all info you wil lneed, start in:
Recruiters Q & A forums.

Are you still persuing the opt 40?
Post your most recent pt scores here.

Update, had some family issues come up and had to put things on hold for a bit but im not giving up on my dream! Been talking with my recruiter and got my security packet sent off. Just waiting on my med read to come back and get my date for MEPs. My recruiter is saying as long as MEPs goes good he can get me 11X with Airborne for sure...Im dead set on getting that option 40 though. Ive met a guy who is currently reserve SF and was 3rd Ranger battalion and he is helping and giving me advice! Thanks guys.

We are not "you guys". Go unfuck yourself by reading the rules and regs of this site as instructed already. If you cannot accomplish that simple task, you have serious problems aside from your PT scores, which are akin to a halfwit tied in a goddamned potato sack.

If it takes you three months to reply to posts, this is going to be a truly long distance conversation.

You are not doing well. I do not think you truly comprehend what you will be facing if you actually enlist and somehow get a chance at RASP.
