SITREP:NEVERQUITING2013

Post by neverquiting2013 »

Hello Rangers, and ALL OTHERS.
I just got back from the office, and have my preliminary reservation form in front of me.
I was wondering if any of you would help me out with some confusion i have. It all seems right to me and my Recruiter assures me it is, however with that being said I was curious why RASP is not listed in the training section, my Recruiter said that is because my first assignment takes care of that. Another thought of mine is that RASP isn't really training as it is obviously a assesment course.
Any opinion would be greatly apprieciated!!

The form reads-

job: 11X
Title: infantry recruit

Option: 40
Title: US Army Airborne Ranger

Assotiated options:
First Assignment: RGV4 RGV4-Ranger training
Ship date 20140121

** The form then begins to state "while specific training locations are not gaurenteed, you are tentatively scheduled to recieve the following training" **

OSUT-BENNING 20140131
BAT-BENNING 20140519

Standard wording. You are being recruited for a vacancy in the 75th Ranger Regiment. You have a ship date for OSUT. When you complete OSUT, you have a date for Basic Airborne Training, when that is complete, you go to RASP. Nothing magical. Let us know when you take your oath. Never, never quit!

Let us know when you have taken your oath. In the meantime, start memorizing the Ranger Creed and begin to live your life by it. Never, never quit!
