I showed up with a cold and slight fever for the APFT this morning and had trouble breathing while running the 2 mile. Threw up once after two laps around the track and then was dry heaving for the rest of the run. I'll be taking another recruiter administered APFT next Monday at 9 AM.
Let this be a lesson for the future. If you are scheduled for an important PT test and you are sick; don't hesitate to go on sick call. I have seen more than a few troopers in Airborne or RASP screw-up by taking a PT test when they're sick. Never, never quit!
