Post by Apaxsus »

My name is Wesley. I want a 68W. But u need some smarts acquire it.I'm 24 had to take care of my mom she got cancer right when i was getting ready for school.Glad i waited because i would have went infantry. With so age and wisdom.I WILL be Tactical Field Medic for The 75th Ranger reg. I just need some advise on what degree i should get so my application is accepted.I was thinking the 2 year EMT degree.I can handle blood and can endure.I know a Ranger is 90% mental n 20% physical. Any advise from Medic would help a lot.I'm not kiss your ass this is true I really admire how u guys keep your minds right when all hell breaks lose. I hope i don't mess up when my time comes. Being a Medic i would have to stay focused.Any advise on the degree to get would be great.I hope when i become a medic i never have to see any of you.

Welcome Wesley. If you want to earn a place in the 75th Ranger Regiment, you came to the right site. We take pride in the fine young men who pass through armyranger.com in their life journey. Please begin by reading the FAQs as well as selected threads and stickies. Most questions you might have are already addressed. The search feature, located on the top right of this page is your friend. On this site we write in English and spell out each word. There is an excellent analysis of Ranger medic training by Ranger BloodyLimey on the letters from school thread. Please self-administer a PT test within the next 72 hours and post your results on this thread. Never, never quit!

With your attention to detail, or lack thereof (maybe it's just laziness?) I would not want you conducting aid on my wounds. Rangers, no matter what MOS (job) they do, are to a man, some of the most detail oriented soldiers you'll ever know.

Shot in the dark here but is English a second language to you? Not bashing you just asking.

Also, do not ever make assumptions about Rangers. "90% mental/20% physical"
You know completely zero so far about Rangerin'. Your PT standards will need to be higher than you can even imagine at this point. You will feel pain on this journey.
