Fourteen inches of wet snow and the power is out, but I did get to use my snowshoes. This is good training!!

Hey, hey, hey, let's not be complaining here - just throw a couple more logs on the fire. Gonna be a three dog night maybe?

Sub-zero is expected and part of the sadistic draw, but -30 to -35 crosses that line between hardcore and stupid.

Ranger Lunch,
I don't feel quite so cold and miserable now realizing how much colder it is up there in the frozen tundra versus our 20 degrees here. Thanks for that, Jenny

Haven't had snow in three years here. It usually snows once or twice in the winter, but nothing. This is a bad thing if you are a farmer. No snow means we have more flying insects, more fucking vines killing off the crops and I haven't had fruit from my trees in three years.

Good news? The sun is going into a low activity cycle next year... so colder winters and milder summers.

I saw an old post card once that had two Hobo's walking with their small sacks tied to a stick (over their shoulders) while they were walking alongside the train tracks. One Hobo says to the other, "I glad people don't judge me today on who I used to be."

If you drop soap, does it get dirty?
If you get floss stuck in your teeth, what do you get it out with?
How did stay off the grass signs get there?
When you see a sign that says thank you for not smoking, how does it know?
If pain is weakness leaving the body, why does it hurt every other time you do it?

I just answered the PM you sent me, rather nicely I might add. I only used one curse word.

I hope you take my advice to heart young man or your stay will be short lived here.

That is all. Do push-ups.
