Introduction - Heath

Post by FullMetalOne »

Hello Rangers, My name is Heath. I am a future soldier who enlisted on June 23rd 2012 with an 11x option 40 contract. I ship on August 27th 2012, so in six days. I've been reading and learning from your site for a couple months. I'm 25 years old with a 4 year degree in education. I've been working since i enlisted to get ready for basic. As of right now this is where i'm at.

2-2-2
Pushups: 75
Situps:82
2 mile run: 12:47

5mile run: 37:30

I won't ask a bunch of questions that have already been answered on this board, but i will thank you for answering them previously. I'm a huge fan of the talk less, listen more strategy that you have so outlined to previous future soldiers, so i'll shut up now.

Ranger Jim, i've learned so much off of your boards. It is time for me to start on this journey. I know my pt scores need improvement, but i'm happy to get to run and work next to someone soon. I'm hoping to find a battle buddy in basic with 18x or opt. 40 that is as motivated as I am and we can push eachother.

Had a best 4 mile time of 28:21 yesterday and 6 mile road march with 45 lbs in an old backpack today of 1:20. Running the morning, lifting and PT in the afternoon and doing Insanity in the evenings for the last month is starting to pay off.
