He actually showed up in person to a board meeting to ensure that the permit to play was passed. Instead of falling into the Hollywood cycle of self-absorption and promotion, this guy is truly selfless. What a class act.

So he was making a trip through HAAF to do some show or something and stopped by while we were doing some prejump shit. He talks to some people for a bit and then asks if he could take a picture with us. Who ever was in charge yells across the field. "HEY, GET EVERYONE OF YOU SHITHEADS OVER HERE GARY BUSEY WANTS TO TAKE A PICTURE WITH US!" We all laughed Gary did not.

In 2007, I went to Open Air Ampi-Theater in Arlington Cemetry on Veteran's Day.
Gary Sinise was the Host Emcee. He was definitely a class act.
I can see he is still going strong.
