Introduction Brown

Post by Brown »

Hello Rangers,

You all can call me Brown. I'm not a Ranger, but later down the road of my career I hope to be. I'm a young PFC(will be SPC on Dec 1st), 19yrs old, and currently serving in a Transportation unit under the 45th STB out of Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. I came in the army Jul 10' and completed BCT at Ft. Jackson. My primary MOS is 92A. But once I got stationed at my duty station in Hawaii, I volunteered to deploy with a Transportation Unit and cross-train as a 88m. Right now we're currently deployed in Afghanistan. I'm also currently an undergraduate student at American Military University and I'm majoring in a BS Sport and Health Science W/ A concetration in Exercise Science, a minor in Sociology, and a certificate in Military Leadership Studies. I've only been in 17months and I'm loving every minute of it. Planning on doing my 20yrs TIS. Right now i'm in the process of trying to reclass to 91f(small arms/artillery repairer) and hopefully sometime after switching over, I wish to take a shot at trying to achieve my goal of becoming a ranger. Last PT test results were; 87 pushups, 90situps, and a 12:47 2mi Run.

As everyone can tell, I'm currently a young stud in this military thing. But I would appreciate if anyone of you Rangers can give me some advise on reaching my goals. Thanks and I'm looking forward to meeting you all.
