Ranger From Nashville
Hello,
My name is Pete. I graduated the Ohio State University in 1995 and was commissioned as a 2LT in the infantry. A short while after IOBC in Benning, I attended the US Army Ranger School in October 1995. I first started in class 02-96, but after a brief hiatus in the Gulag in Florida, graduated 03-96.
My first duty station was with the 6th ID (later reflagged to the 172nd SIB) in USARAK at Fort Wainright, AK, where I was a line Platoon Leader and then Heavy Weapons Platoon Leader for the 2/1 Infantry battalion (Cold Steel). After a promotion to 1LT, I was promoted to the Brigade HHC executive officer for the 172nd Infantry Brigade (Separate). Although I never served within a ranger battalion, I worked with some of the finest young men in the Army. After serving my country, I separated from Active Duty (remaining in the reservers for an additional 5 years) and joined law enforcement for the next seven years.
I am now in a civilian capacity practicing computer forensics (my two mile run time has unfortunately dramatically declined). I miss the military and the comraderie (and the PT), and am excited to have found this website. I thank those of you that have served your country, and those of you that put your lives on the line every day to keep my family safe. I am extremely grateful for everything you do.

You'll find more than a few LEOs here with similar resumes, between the tab & the badge, there's sympatico company for you.
I, of course, am not part of that cabal, but welcome anyway.
