Yep. Split a bottle of rum with him after a high school party at my house (rum came out after the young-uns had left).
Ended up trying to shoot a candle flame out with a 1911 at 0130. How do I know it was 0130? Because my wife so eloquently told me what time it was.

If your wife is anything like mine that conversation went something like this. "What the fuck is your problem? It is 130 in the morning asshole."

No, she is Saint Alice and never swears. She said "ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!!! DO YOU KNOW IT IS 1:30 IN THE MORNING!!!" Meanwhile Puck was supposed to have been home around 10:00 or so, so he got a very warm and friendly welcome from his wife too.

I had half a bottle of rum in my brain, and it was 25 yards away with iron sights. NO ILLUMINATED SIGHTS (its a fad... never catch on)

Puck said I made it flicker several times, which amazed the poop out of him.

Didn't shoot it out though.

If I couldn't hit the flame I would have shot the candle itself...failing that I'd run up and kick the table over....that's right don't unleash the WOMBAT! I'm a problem solver...
