Daylight Savings Time (threat to the environment)

No shit, they are considering going to a single time standard in the UK. But instead of going with the actual time, as established by the Earth's position in relation to the fucking Sun, the origin of all time measurements as we know it, they are looking to permanently go with "British Summer Time".

I think I am going to go out and punch a liberal.....

Reminds me of the Ranger School joke........a reporter was driving down the street and saw a Ranger building some tall wooden structure. He stopped and asked him what it was. The Ranger said he was building a rocket ship to go to the sun. The reporter responded: "The sun is too hot, it will burn up!" To which the Ranger replied, "I'm not stupid, I am going at night!"
