Blackknight intro(current MC service)

Post by theblackknight »

Hey guys.Im 24, currently 2 years into a 4 year stint as a 5711. Joining was a good thing, picking THAT job was prob the worst.

I'm here looking for as much info about switching over to the Army as possible.

Being almost entirely soldiers, we speak 'army'. The hell is a '5711'? Switching over from what? Burger King?

'Blue to Green' is the program you're looking for. See a recruiter.

I know that, but despite being the interservice trivia king around these parts, I only learned a few dozen "foreign" MOS codes.
'Black Knight", a reference to VMF-214?

I first tried to enlist in the Marines, way back when. Their recruiter told me to count to ten. I did. He then informed me that I failed the hand-eye coordination test because I didn't use my fingers.
