Introduction
Recently retired SSG with 20 under my belt. Assigned to 160th SOAR from 1997-2006 as a Flight Engineer on the mighty MH-47 helicopter. I'm a 5 jump chump but feel I earned my beret completing Jump School. I'm quite certain I have delivered you and your fellow Rangers to your training/combat objectives over those years. Some missions quite memorable others just another ride in/out.
I have a son who has grown up and has become quite interested in becoming more than a member of the military. He wants to be a Ranger. I fully support his goal and have joined here to help him gain greater insight into what lies ahead. Once he has made the final commitment I will encourage him to join the forum. I have already gathered quite a bit of intel here to pass along to him. I have already imparted to him the importance of his decision and the true commitment he is about to make. I truly respect the commitment and dedication to all those currently serving and those who have served among the Rangers. Thank you for allowing me into your ranks!

Welcome HeavyAssault.
I would like to thank you for your service as I have fond memories of all flight crews & what you have done & especially 4th AVN BN that flew for us many years ago.
Edited to change AVN BN from 122nd to 4th. Thank you Ranger Bill for helping me remember correctly.

Welcome to ArmyRanger.com and thanks for your service to our great country. Sounds like you have also done a pretty good job raising that son.
