I spoke with my recruiter yesterday and tomorrow morning, I take my physical and whatnot and I'm hoping to ship either end of month or mid-August.

With a little luck, I can get the MOS that I'm pushing for(91-B) and from there get either an option 40(?) or earn it at Basic.

I'll keep you posted.

Why did I re-enlist?...the scenery changes, the pay is good and i get to play with dynamite.

Thanks for the input, it means a lot.

A quick question and I'm not sure if it's been asked before, so here it goes.

My eyesight corrects to 20/25 and I'm wondering if this is good enough for Airborne/RIP and if not, is there any way I can get a waiver?

Good Luck, and you'll have a blast at Ft. Sam.....By the way, when were you with B Co. 3/15 INF. I was their Senior Medic in the late 90's. Did your CO last name start with an HUR......... Send me a PM if you get the chance, and I'll give you some dirty little secrets of Ft. Sam to make your stay a bit more enjoyable.
Hard Pressed on my right. My center is yielding. Impossible to maneuver. Situation excellent. I am attacking.
