First of all, to all the Rangers out there. Thank You for everything you do!

I'm a E-5 25P(microwave radio systems operator and maintainer), cause I'm sure nobody else knew what that was. I joined the army Nov. 17 2005. Spent one year in Korea (1st Sig BDE). I have been at Ft. Gordon for the past 3 years. I'm here to find others who will be attending Airborne or RASP during or around the same time as i will be going. Share and learn from everyone and prepare for the greatest experiences of my life.

You are in deep shit if you report to RASP II with run times like that, but you have time to improve!

Welcome and good luck to you, with "luck" meaning preparedness meeting opportunity. You have the opportunity so be prepared and make your own good luck. Running is good.

You'll want a 2 mile under 13:00 (12:30 always worked for me :D ) and a 5 mile around 36:00 at least.

By the way, welcome and thanks for your service. I have a buddy who just reclassed MI and is on his way to Gordon right now.

The NCOs at RASP are known to grade pushups, situps, and pullups form more strictly than most Big Army guys are used to. Therefore, if you run like a gazelle, and still meet standard on the rest, you should be good to go.....shoot for a 300 score before you go to Airborne School! The PT in Airborne School won't be adequate to keep you in shape for RASP, so you'll have to do more on your own time.
