Ranger JTLW!!!, the jobs I listed are ones available to me because of my colorblindness. I'm going to talk with my recruiter tomorrow and he will tell me what jobs are available in the time slot I need. As of right now 11b/c is not an option because there are no more slots in the time slot I need. Thats why I'm considering 13b.

Ranger Bill, I'm doing this for the National Guard and returning to college after basic and AIT. I'm doing all of this for experience as my ultimate goal is to become an Infantry Officer and one day attend Ranger School.

31B - Pro's: Excellent choice to garner experience for a later career in civilian law enforcement. Opportunity to advance into CID. Jump slots also available in the areas I mentioned above.

- Con's: Must deal with dirt bag troops and domestic disputes on patrol in garrison. Traffic enforcement....GAY. Must work with chicks, and possibly have chick leadership...ULTRA GAY, must put up with ridiculous drama non-existent in man units, must pretend the 5 foot 120 pound chick is every bit as capable as your 6 foot 200 pound male comrades. May be tasked to do shit your element is not trained for...see above.

FWIW, any MOS now qualifies to apply for CID, as long as they are SGT(P) and below, and meet all prerequisites. That is a scary thought...

Update Rangers-
I finished MEPs today. I'm shipping out 20100803. My MOS is 13b with basic being at Ft. Benning (woohoo) and my AIT being in Ft. Sill. Now that I have that out of the way, my next goal is to get my GPA up so I can branch Infantry upon graduation!
