For a youngster you don't say much. You want to expand your intro a little? We know you like long walks on Victory Drive, and to hold hands around the flag pole, but tell us a little more about yourself.

Yea, I really miss victory drive lol. I left 3rd Batt about a year and half ago. Big Mistake. Decided to take a job down at Macdill, but it has turned in to a nightmare. You can't beat the weather here and the fishing is awesome, but to say the least the job satisfaction is mind numbing. I have been in the Army for 8 years and waiting to pin on 7. Started out with 101st, then came to 3rd Batt as an import and I am currently with SOCCENT at Macdill AFB.

Don't fight it. Use your time there to learn how the machine is greased and how it works. Especially learn where the money is and by whom & how it is apportioned. When you make '8' or SGM/CSM someday, the knowledge and contacts you make right there can prove invaluable. Too many soldiers stay in the grass level and never learn how to improve their eventual unit's position by making good use of staff/HQ time.
Be a sponge and excel in your work there.

And drop by here anytime! Nestle up to the bar, pissing & moaning time begins any minute now at the bar out back.

Great advice! Worth a million and the cost is free.
