I noticed the same thing...but it wasn't because of the roll not fitting (I have the standard fuctard residental holders), but I kept getting shit on my pinky finger...I have wiped my own ass for almost all 40 of my years and never (well hardly ever) gotten shit on my pinky finger...comes to find out...yup....1/2" less width on the disposable crap towels.

We should start a petition or a website or some friggin thing...I am really pissed (and pooped) about this shit.

This is a sad commetary for several reasons.

1. That a mother fucker would be so bored that he would even give a shit about the size of the roll.
2. That another less aged mother fucker would not only agree with him but then relate a story about getting shit on his pinky finger. FYI: Same story relater would fuck any woman in the ass and get his junk covered with shit and dance gleefully yet complain about his pinky finger.

The tissue issue at hand here is not the inadequateness of a 4”x4” swath, but the fact that the roll does not remain on the holder. We are talking hitting the floor and rolling out the door. Serious shit indeed!

Just a backdoor way of raising prices. Look into propane pricing lately? Price per refill is the same but you get less gas now, your retailer can't do much about it since the distributors initiated the practice of shortfills.
People immediately notice a price increase but short them instead on a little product & the net result is the same without the pissing & moaning.

Yes, like everything, you can blame this on the government too (why not?).

The economy went into the the fucking dumpster, and since we printed money like it was worthless paper (wait... huh?) all prices logically must go up. But if prices go up, the consumers will be pissed and quit buying anything except the "must have" items. So the businesses have been shrinking everything, and charging the same. Your box of Lucky Charms may be the same size, but inside it is a lot less cereal. I buy chicken breasts, in a big family pack, that used to have 8 chicken breasts in it. Now I'm lucky if I get five. This is a way to keep the consumer happy (but stupid) without having to raise the price on anything.

This is the unintended consequence of the economy. So now shit gets on your pinky and your toilet paper rolls on the floor.
