Dad, you came to the right place to get answers but we do have some protocols here.
Please head over to the intro forum for civilians and post an intro and read the FAQs and SOPs etc before you post again.

RIP, soon to be renamed 'RASP' and expanded, is the rite of passage and basic skills course your son will have to pass in order to serve in our regiment. Then he'll have to prove that he can handle the spartan lifestyle of a scrolled Ranger before he has a crack at Ranger School. That can take up to a year or so and yes, until he earns his Ranger tab, and in today's 75th, also has a successful combat tour behind him, he'll not be fully accepted until he is a proven, known quantity.
