fireworks fun for the 4th

Post by aimee2180 »

Alright men, time to put some of that knowledge to use...
I've got a brick of black cats, and I want to have some fun. My boyfriend (a former Ranger) took three single charges, braided them together, then put three groups of those together, stuck another in the middle and braided them all up, lashing them together with thin strips of duct tape. I tried to replicate what he did, but all I got was "Woman- what did you do to this charge?!" (i.e., they would not all go off at once/the same time)
Soooo..... since I obviously don't know anything about this stuff, I'd like some input on how to impress my guy. Should I braid them top down or bottom up, or what? Just so you know, I won't actually be lighting these. I'll leave that up to someone with more training than I. So don't be afraid that I'll blow off my pretty little fingers, I just want to set up the charge correctly!
Any help is appreciated :)
Happy 4th to all!

scored his own goal.

Aimee - the best thing you could do is to turn all pyro into your boyfriend as he is the only one there qualified to properly dispose of them. And if you beleive in reincarnation, pray you are born as a boy next time.

That's a pretty funny clip! Just put some of this in here, shake it up like so, and... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I wonder what they thought was gonna happen! hehe

Ranger Spartan- Why should I want to be born a man next time around? So I can jump out of planes and crawl through swamps like all y'all? (See! I found a use for it! See: http://www.armyranger.com/bb/viewtopic. ... highlight=) Anyways, I'm not *that* hardcore, but I have done a few crazy things in my life. As I tell my guy though, I'm primarily interested in jobs where I'm NOT going to get shot or shot at. And while we can't always know about those random crazies, (See: http://www.heraldsun.news.com.au/common ... 01,00.html) in general, that's just how I feel, I guess! 8)

And I'm not that much of a pyro! I promise! Although I did used to burn ants w/ a magnifying glass back in elementary school. And then when we had to find out focal lengths of lenses back in high school physics class there was the matter of some choice words being burnt into the picnic benches... (lalalalala, who me? )
