MRE's were just comin in as I was close to gettin out and I don't remember them ever havin pound cake in'em, but I DO remember that the C-Rat pound cake was the top desert you could get IMO. Didn't surprise me one bit that it was still edible after all these years.

The pound cake was almost like real food and the fruit cocktail was worth its weight in gold. A great combo.
On the other hand, feeding EPWs the fruitcake could get you charged as a war criminal!
