Non-Ranger Personnel Read this.

Post by jakeshoe »

Having access to this site's wealth of info, Ranger stories, view into the Ranger life gives you guys a distinct advantage in being able to be a "Poser".
That is a low-life, oxygen thieving, piece of shit, who doesn't have a life worthy of it's own so they have to make up a story about being a Ranger taking away from those who have actually earned it.

I had a poser at work that tells a good story try to pull it off on me. Guess what?
I busted him today in front of his co-workers. He kept pushing the envelope and finally went over the edge into an ambush he laid for himself.

So now he may be looking at losing a $50K+/yr job over a BS story he's been telling.
Some employers really do care about honesty and integrity.

He had enough info from living near a BN, being military, reading that he could halfway pull the story off. But it wasn't good enough. Nor will any poser's story ever be.

So before you go spouting off some BS poser story you better think twice.
Because someday, somewhere one of us WILL catch you and it will not be worth it.

This POSER actually has a TAB tattoo'd on his left shoulder...
Wanna guess what'll happen to that once word gets around?

Just a word of warning...

Rangers (and cops) have a finely tuned BS detector...we can smell when something ain't right. Add that to the fact that it really is a small fucking world, and it's not that hard to confirm shit in the information age.

Posing is the same as going to your local veteran's cemetary and pissing on the graves.

We have a manager-type guy here at work that claims to have been a AH-1 pilot, but when I run his name through military.com buddy finder all I get are multiple hits as a Enlisted MOS' of 66T and 67T which are UH-60 Repair.

Granted, it seems that the buddy finder is inaccurate at best, but I'm wondering if the guy's claims are legit. He seems like an ok guy, is doing good work, but if he's posing as Snake pilot, thats pretty fucking lame.

Given enough time with an individual(either in person or online), I think that Ranger wannabes are quite easy to spot. The real BTDT's have a certain 'Air' that the rest of us do not and cannot pick up no matter how much time we spend reading books or scouring through information online.

Well said, Ranger BadMuther and I would like to add that 'Stolen Valor' dimishes the contribution of those who have done the deeds and earned the titles. It's sickening that people aren't happy with their position in life and project themselves as being 'heroes'. Personally, I would never look down on anyone who served(in any capacity) just please be truthful and as a non-Ranger, that is one of the things that I certainly appreciate about Armyranger dot com.

Thanks,
