I also wanted to mention that I attended the Tea Party of Charlotte, NC which is about 20 miles north of my location. I found it funny when she stated that these people attending were racist and or defiant of a black man as our president. While I was there, I took note that there were in fact many black people there as well. Glenn Beck put it well on tv the other night that these people aren't showing up because they were racist, or extreme right-wing citizens (I would say that a considerable amount of democrats attended as well), but they were showing up simply because they do care about the current state of the nation. Garofalo was a comedian, right? Well, she did a good job because her statements were quite funny.

Her argument is that 'we' are racists and that it is a neurological and physical problem, which is a form of racism in and of itself.

My "middle of the road" and "live and let live" philosophy is becoming less tenable under this administration. That and hanging out with BadMuther is making me more conservative by the day.
