Hello:
I have enjoyed this site for a few years now, but I have not posted at the request of my husband. He served with 3/75 A company and those of you who knew him would recognize him as “Old Man ….” as he went to basic at 35 in 1988. We have two young children, and yes, I am quite a bit younger than he.
I am treading delicately, because this is not something he ever authorized, and I want to respect that this is his world, and not mine. But, after a long time of giving and giving without ever getting back, I don’t have any more give left to call on. He has asked for another chance – to prove how much he loves me. And, dammit. I love the bastard. So, I am here to try to connect with other wives in the hopes that maybe they can offer some insight from their own experiences. To circle back one more time…

Those definitely don't add sex appeal. Ha! I am not sure about the 'funny' finger though. He is not a tall guy (5'5") and he is very quiet. That help?
