Hockey Injury

Post by Ghostex »

I just recently received an injury during hockey practice; a slapshot to my upper ankle while screening the goal. Its a decent sized bruise, but the problem is it is painful, but tolerable to walk on, leaving me with a slight limp. My coach told me to stay off it for a good 1.5-2 weeks.

My main question and concern is: What aerobic exercise can I do in place of running 5 miles? or should I push through the pain and run the 5 miles? or should I just cut down my mileage?
