I'm probably the only guy here who hasn't eaten at a Hooters. I walked in the one on the seawall down in Galveston last year. The hostess was such a little snot, I told her," You're not half as fine as you think you are," and walked out. I haven't had the desire to try another one. There are plenty of beautiful women out there who don't have the "Miss Universe complex." Besides, why eat a damned chicken wing when I can eat a porterhouse?

My youngest son is a cook at a Hooters near Orlando. He says there's a lot of drama among the girls, but they are all really nice to the cooks. Nobody wants their orders messed up!

Earthpig: Never been to the HOOTERS in Galveston. I've been to the HOOTERS in Waco, only because all the Religious Right people were protesting it's opening and I just happened to be in Waco.

You aren't missing anything Bob. The fried pickles are good, but other than that, beer tastes the same everywhere. I used to go there just b/c they showed all the UFC events w/o a cover charge....now everyone else (with better food) seems to be doing the same so there is no need to go there. Besides, I can't stand ditzy to just plain stupid women, and that seems to be about 95% of the women hired at the Hooters I've ever been to. It makes eating crappy food, that much worse.

Their wings are disgusting. I lived 5 miles from the Original Hooters. The girls there were ALWAYS Hot and ALWAYS nice....but the wings still sucked.

Winghouse and BW3's are much better.
