Col. Gregory Hager will relinquish command of the Ranger Training Brigade to Col. Douglas Flohr in a change of command ceremony July 10 at Fort Benning, Ga.
A recent graduate of the U.S. Army War College at Carlisle Barracks, Pa., Flohr returns to Fort Benning where he served as battalion and brigade operations officer at the Ranger Training Brigade from 1999 to 2001 and as a plans and special projects officer with the 75th Ranger Regiment through 2003.
He also commanded 5th Ranger Training Battalion, the mountain phase of Ranger School, from 2003 to 2005 at Camp Merrill in Dahlonega, Ga.
