question about ranger tab and scroll
question about ranger tab and scroll
I have a question but first I would like to Thank all the members of the military for there service. I tried searching for this information but could not get a direct answer. What is the difference between a Ranger Tab and a Ranger Scroll? If this question is stupid, I am sorry that I have wasted your time. I am not sure this is the right spot for this question but I did not see a better location.
I also have one more quetion now that i think about it. What is the difference between a 18x and an 11x contract.
any help would be Appreciated. :D

Aw hell I'll answer it for you. You get a Ranger Tab when you complete Ranger School. The Ranger Scroll is a Unit insignia you wear when assigned the to Ranger Regiment.

Logan you are asking very simple questions. You can easily find the answers to them by simple searching on this site.
Or go check out Goarmy.com....
But here ya go anyways.
11B-The infantry is the main land combat force and backbone of the Army. It’s equally important in peacetime and in combat. The Infantryman’s role is to be ready to defend our country in peacetime and to capture, destroy and repel enemy ground forces during combat.
The following are some duties expected of Infantrymen:
- Perform as a member of a fire team during drills and live combat
- Perform hand-to-hand combat
- Aid in the mobilization of vehicles, troops and weaponry
- Assist in reconnaissance missions
- Operate two-way radios and signal equipment
- Process prisoners of war and captured documents
- Learn to use, maintain and store various combat weaponry (rifles, machine guns, anti-tank mines, etc.)
