I went back in Jan 1991. I'm sure the course format has changed somewhat, but if the stated goal of the course is to prepare Army officers to fill the role of Ground Liason Officers (GLO's) and Air Fore Pilots as Air Liason Officers (ALO's), not much you need to know before hand other than the various Air Force aircraft that are used for Close Air Support Operations.

PM me if you want any other info.

I went as young SGT in early 2005. It is a very knowledge intensive course. There is not really anything you need to know prior to going, other than just be ready to study your ass off. I spent the majority of 2 weeks in Vegas with my head in books. It's not by any means a difficult course, just lots of information. The fire support aspect is limited, more focused on bigger picture stuff, MDMP, TAGS/AAGS, (you'll learn to love those last two). Don't sweat it and just approach it like you would anyother military school. I hope you like powerpoint.

Thats the beauty of alcohol: if you don't remember it, it didn't happen!
