I just watched the re-run on AFN this morning.
First off, Liddell vs Silva showed how much different Pride and UFC are in general. There were a couple of situations where the rules worked against Silva's mindset, i.e. kicking in the face on the ground, knee in the head etc.
However, Chuck Liddell did deliver a great performance. Wanderlei needs to get used to the UFC way and work his way back up. He's a phenomenal fighter and has a good 5 years left in him.
Then the Hughes vs St Pierre fight. Wow. What an eye-opener. He dominated Matt Hughes like he was a washed up tomato can. No doubt whatsoever what's in store for that weight class if St Pierre continues training and fighting the way he showed up for this UFC.
I'm looking forward to the next UFC. Should be a good one coming up!
