One more sign that we are doomed. A 6 year old girl entered an essay contest to try and win tickets to Hannah Montana, and started the letter with "My Dad died this year in Iraq". After she won, they found out she lied:

She could have wrote that while her papa is "out of town".....mama is out gettin' drunk every night and turning tricks on the side to put supper on the table.
I'm sure mom would find that to be a much better story line and would give her complete approval........yes?.
