SITREP

Post by Black Sadie »

Rangers,

Graduated OSUT on 30NOV2007. Apologies for taking so long to post a sitrep. I was given two weeks HRAP followed by two weeks of Christmas Exodus. Becoming a soldier has changed my life completely, and graduation day was one of the best days of my life. There is just something about wearing that blue cord.

I consider myself very lucky to have this much time off to be with my family, but part of me can't wait to get back to Georgia to resume training in BAT and then RIP. I came out with a PT score of 268...65 PU, 64 SU, 12:52 2MILE. I got a month membership to a local gym so I can swim and lift weights over the break, and then I run about 3-4 miles six days a week.

Rangers, thank you again for your service to our country and for this website. This is by far and away the best tool any young man can use before heading off to Sand Hill. Anyone who hasn't been to OSUT yet...do yourself a huge favor and read Ranger cwdirect's post about it. Everything he said was spot on.

Have a good New Year everyone and I'll try to be better about the SITREPS in the future.

Congratulations Soldier! :D I'm proud of you. 8)

When you are with the family, enjoy yourself, but also keep your eye on the prize and don't do anything stupid when out with friends!!!

I look forward to seeing you back here in several months with all your shit and addressing you as Ranger Black Sadie.
