Hello Rangers,
I was in 1st Batt, B co , 2nd Plt 1993-1995. I'm a police officer in upstate NY. I became a police officer in 1990 and took a leave of absence and went in the Rangers at the age of 30 in 1993. It was the best thing I ever did. I got out in 1995 when my son was born and went back to the police department. I remember when I joined the army and got a Ranger contract people thought I was nuts giving up my secure, well paying job to go into the army being a E-nothing. Hey, they just didn't understand. Besides my son being born, being a Ranger is the proudest time of my life.
