Thanks To All Who Serve - You Are Giants!

Post by brittus »

My name is Britt, 43yr-old land surveyor and civil engineer. I grew up in West Virginia and my family has been there since the early 1700s (VA back then)... I consider myself a Mountaineer forever!

Thanks to all who served and continue to serve, your hard work and sacrifices make all we have today possible- keep up this most honorable work!

Trophy Hunt Taxidermy Gift

Post by brittus »

Just went through the "Trophy Hunt" forum, and it enraged and entertained at the same time- mostly enraged...

I am the only male in my family history not to serve in the armed forces. Not too many regrets there, I worked on computer systems for the Federal Government and helped streamline and reduce costs/waste. I am an Eagle Scout who continues to work for the betterment of community & individuals... so, at least, I'm not a lazy taker.

But these F**king guys kill me! How selfish, stupid and yet ballsey can you be? Mommy and Daddy didn't pay you enough attention? At some point late at night you have to face yourself, pal. It's OK.

SO: Anyone who needs bail money or help pay lawyer fees after stomping one of these faggots (even gays don't like faggots) can count on me for some compensation!

Is this a statement borne out of experience? :?

Well, Mountaineer...I actually came from Lewisburg, learned to wear shoes when I was 17, brush my teef when I was....30 and am a faithful follower of Brother Rich Rodrigues.

Now, before we get all palsy and want to exchange rings and shit....read more and if you post much, expect to draw fire. It happens.

Experience Helps

Post by brittus »

Firstly Apologies!

Not trying to flame here... or anywhere... but since I stuck my head up I'll take some fire and reposition, wiser for the wear (check around ..I ain't all over the 'net posting on boards)

My sister is "family"- a codeword for gay. Many of my friends are. No problem. Not even close to an issue or a hangup.

I'm in the camp of: if a man likes a man (that way), he wants a man, not a man acting like a woman. We aren't so good at playing women- unless it's a Monty Python skit. Then it's silly. On their side, women don't do well at being men. Just works that way.

The men and women I know that are gay don't make it their job to trade gender roles and be a "faggot"- most you'd never know what their preferences are. Even in San Francisco (lived there 11 years) there was a line in the sand- gays this side, faggots that. They use this term to describe each other. It's from this experience I felt comfortable enough to use that phrase, though bringing sexual orientation into a forum was stupid to say the least. I should have called them a tick or a mosquito, something that could be universally reviled.

Apologies again.

Now, how do we know the toothbrush was invented in West Virginia? If it was invented anywhere else it would be called a teethbrush...

I finally got my downhill leg shortened to match the uphill one...

Although mildly interesting, this thread has taken a nose dive. It has taken a nose dive because I read it...and I am the supreme leader of a group called "The Retrosexuals". So unless you want to suffer the verbal torment of every member of this forum I suggest you leave your "Progressive ideals" out of this forum. I am just trying to save you from the onslaught your comments are likely to bring.

STOP. FREEZE. You have put so much thought into this post that it's fucking disturbing.

Take the fucking cock out of your mouth and stop posting now.

You have clearly mistaken this place for somewhere else, re-orient your map and clear the fuck out.

obviously a left turn in albuquerque

I found this Webiste/Forum while looking for info on the Savage Model 10FCM .308 Scout Rifle. I replied to a posting without first introducing myself a couple of months ago by registering only. My follow-up email said nothing about introductions/FAQs.

While looking for a followup this week I realized I needed to formally introduce myself, and started this thread. Then I looked around the site and learned how extensive this brotherhood is... and then...

,,,I found the Trophy Hunt stories & got upset with your honor and work being used by such people- I really didn't know people were that fucked up. Perhaps I am not allowed to be mad on your behalves. My family too paid its tolls in the fields and at home with broken lives.

And so I typed that letter and chose that phrase with blood in my eyes. I didn't think I was offending anyone. Sorry. Can't go to the parking lot and fight, can't scrub floors or do pushups. Just, Sorry.

if only i could get so many repsonses to my scout rifle observations instead of all this.
