Been a while again but still hanging in there!

Post by MagNeato »

Been a while since I posted, I am yet verified but I am sure that will come quickly now. I just graduated SOCM today and am on my way to 2nd Batt. Should be there sometime in May.

For any aspiring medics considering the 75th as a potential home the training you will receive at JSOMTC is LEAPS and BOUNDS ahead of what the regular Army medics recieve. I cannot stress that point enough and to be honest I wish all medics could receive the training that this course offers regardless of where a medic ends up for the simple fact that lives would undoubtedly be saved as a result of this.

I spent longer than normal at JSOMTC, I had to have some sutures removed from an old knee reconstruction that had become encapsulated. Glad it happened here instead of at Bn. My knee is stronger than ever and feels like it did pre-injury which occured in Mogadishu a long long time ago.

Lastly, allthough I don't post much i frequent here often and i thank everyone for the constant info that is here, it is invaluable.

Hope to see you all on the other side, stafe safe!

Well, I have been at 2nd Batt now for a SHORT bit, trained a little and got REALLY lucky and ended up with a platoon right outta the gate. I realized quick I have a TON to learn but have LOVED every second and cannot wait to see what the future will hold!

Finally making it to Batt so far has been everything I could of hoped for and SO much more. I gave up a lot in the civilian world to come back in and had expectations that I wanted met and certain criteria that i wanted to serve under and I am overwhelmed in so much that Batt has exceeded all of my expectations so far. i am blessed!

I have found my home and look forward to a wonderful stay in this strictly business and kick ass unit!

Once again, I thank all those here for the support, i cannot thank you enough!
