550 cord Swiss Seats are bad ass, how did it work out for you? Have you ever tried an Aussie Seat with it?

Thizz, a man has only one opportunity to make a favorable initial impression. I'm reserving judgement for the moment. You will find that there are a number of us here who have worn glasses their entire life. That single 2 in your picket fence is not a show stopper. If you really want to serve in the 75th Ranger Regiment, you came to the right place. Begin by reading all the FAQs as well as selected stickies and threads. Use the search feature to learn the answers to most of your questions.

Please tell us where you go to school and why you used 550 cord as a swiss seat. Do you plan to go to White Sands for the Death March this year?

Never, never quit!

This will be short and sweet.

Go read the Board FAQ's and all the stickies at the top of each forum. Know and understand them before you post again.

as for 550 cord swiss seat? we had this thing in ROTC called "Ranger challenge," and part of the competition was the one rope bridge. One time we started talking about a 550 cord swiss seat, cuz apparently 550 cord had hold 550 pounds. maybe it does, but i would trust my life to it. so it was cool to try for just being 5 feet off the ground.

I've never Aussie repelled, although running down the tower looks cool. they never let us do it in ROTC.

This is the proper way Thizz, learn it and use it, and move on.

I'd be interested in what your Chain of Command thinks about you, as you come off as someone with an attitude problem.
Tell me, if you didn't really like ROTC, and the best cadets were the ones who hated the program, why did you have to be dropped from it? And why did you waste 2 years there? Scholarship?
Do you believe your ROTC experience was a microcosm of what the Army is like? If so, why do you want to join?

My inclination is to write you off as a punk, but as Ranger Jim said, I'll reserve judgement for the moment.

cuz: Short for cousin, bonafide old school southern slang meaning "Bro", "amigo"(for those who are illegal immigrant friendly), or "friend" for those who speak fluent English.

Example: Hey Cuz, what the fuck, over? :D
