Option 40 for Prior Service

Post by kit »

I'm a prior service 11B seeking to rejoin the Army with an Option 40 contract (please see my introduction). Guidance Counsellors are not authorized to give Option 40 to prior service, but there must be someone, in the DoD or somewhere, who can. I mean to find that person, as I am determined to go to RIP and become a Ranger. Is there anyone on these forums who can give me advice as to how to beg, borrow, or steal an Option 40? I will get to RIP, I just need some help in figuring out how.

You're search-fu is weak. This question has been answered many times before you.

I don't think it's going to happen. Not in a contract anyways. You might be able to get an Airborne slot in your contract and volunteer from BAC.
